Abstract

A microprocessor-based general purpose ground support equipment for electronic systems has been developed and placed in service at the NASA Dryden Flight Research Facility. The hardware and software are designed to permit diverse applications in support of airraft flight systems and simulation facilities. This paper describes the implementation of the hardware and the structure of the software and describes the application of the system to an ongoing research aircraft project.
